1. Introduction
THE HUMAN DEVELOPMENT CENTER - VOLUNTEER AND INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
(update April/5/2003)
In the HDC Internship Group are a number of Fellows and Alumni working
together. We promote human development related volunteer and internship
activities in various MF countries. This opportunity is open to Fellows and Alumni.
The following list contains volunteer possibilities in the Melton Foundation countries Germany, India, USA, Chile, projects in non-MF countries Bangladesh, Northern Ireland and an international operating project
The basic idea is to volunteer in a Human Development related project or organization for a certain time. We can establish the contact between the project and you. It makes sense to volunteer before or after the Symposium (to save some costs), but you can do it all year around as well.
But the following is basically valid: The volunteer will have to cover for their up/down airfare/food, accommodation, etc. In some cases are homestays possible. We try to arrange that. Volunteering might be granted by the MF Intercampus Project. Please contact them for any Intercampus grant possibilities.
If you are interested or if you have questions,
contact the Human Development Center - Volunteer and Internship Project:
- Send Email to: portal@meltonfoundation.org
- subject: put hdc.internship
- For volunteer requests please fill out the [application form] at the bottom of this page and send it to us.
- Note: MF Members only
